Our Mission And Goals

Team, I've reviewed the vision, mission and goals as well as Fred's pwrpt again. Thanks to Bob & Fred in particular & all other contributions so far. I believe the vision, mission and goals are well constructed, clear and comprehensive enough to provide the framework and inspiration necessary for adoption and success. I can vote for the existing vision, mission and goals with no reservations.

Please allow a few additional comments. The following concept is already addressed somewhat. However, IF there were an additional sentence in the vision or mission that would add value for me it would be something like this: Citizens of Fairfield from 6th grade up learn and understand the wisdom and practical value of environmentally sustainable living, incorporate this knowledge in their daily thinking and actions, gently encourage others to do the same and diligently practice lifelong learning.

In the "no acronyms" dept: Fred, in your wonderful pwrpt would you please spell out so no one has any doubt, IAQ as Indoor Air Quality and also spell out "triple bottom line" as People, Planet, Profit? reference: Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triple_bottom_line Thanks.

Thanks for your great suggestions Kim. I'm adding the educational point to my goals list. I'll change the power point as i get the time.
