Community Energy Resource

This Web site was begun as a collaborative project in the fall of 2006 by the students of a solar energy course titled "Energy Use By Man and Nature"), which is part of the four-year Sustainable Living Program at Maharishi University of Management.

Lonnie Gamble was the lead faculty with a host of special guest speakers. The wiki was installed and configured by Ben Stallings of Interdependent Web.

Community Futures Conference

In the summer of 2007, the Big Green Summer interns led a city-wide, day-long event called the Community Futures conference. The committees that were formed as part of that conference took on the maintenance of the site.

RenewFairfield as a Portal

In October, 2007, a coalition of local environmental groups decided they needed a unified public face, and that that face should be this site! We are still in the process of adjusting to that change.
